DAFTER, Mich.— Cloverland Electric Cooperative has approximately 115 outages remaining in its service territory. Although these outages are scattered through Mackinac, Chippewa and Luce counties, the greatest concentration of storm-related outages remains in Newton township (50).
After going on mandatory safety rest at 10 p.m. last night, crews will resume restoration efforts this morning to restore remaining outages.
Cloverland reminds the public to stay safe and stay clear of downed power lines or tree limbs on power lines. Members should report any safety hazards to Cloverland at 1-800-562-4953 or contact their local law enforcement agency.
Members with access to www.cloverland.com and Facebook can stay current on restoration efforts and the latest updates available. In addition, members can use the outage viewer available through Cloverland’s website or its SmartHub app for up-to-the-minute outage updates or to report outages.
