By the deadline of November 16th, more than 20 individuals had applied or expressed interest in the position. The field was initially reduced to 10 candidates whose experience aligned with the requirements and expectations outlined in the prospectus. The Cloverland Electric Cooperative board of directors identified five very strong candidates for extensive reference checks by Search Consultant Peter Mitchell. Video interviews followed by on-site interviews took place on November 26th. Board members plan to make a decision soon so the new President/CEO can join Cloverland in early 2019.
